Fall is always an excellent time to bring your rookie team members up to speed and enhance your team’s capabilities. Here are a couple of near-term opportunities.

MRI off-season competition: The Roseville Firebears have hosted this exciting event for many years. Competition starts early Saturday morning. See the Firebears website for more information (http://firebears.org/?page_id=375). This is a great place to introduce new team members to FIRST Robotics.

Jumpstart for Mentors – training topics for mentors, Oct 28th, St. Cloud State Univ.

JUMPSTART for Mentors (https://mnfirst.org/training/jumpstart-for-mentors/) will close Registration on October 20, but there is still room (just a few more openings). JUMPSTART for Mentors is designed to aid teams that need more help in organizing the team, working with other teams, working within their school district, and creating a more active mentor base.

JUMPSTART Training Event – student-focused training . Hold the date Dec 2nd , St Cloud State Univ.

Like every previous season, JUMPSTART Training Event at SCSU is free to students and mentors and will be hosted by SCSU. More information will be found on the JUMPSTART website (https://advancedroboticstraining.wordpress.com).
