Team Leaders, this opportunity from Team 2220, Eagan High School, crossed my email today.

Everyone is invited to attend the “Cookies, College & Careers” event. We would love to have everyone on your team attend!

Women In Robotics Empowering Sisters (WIRES) and Eagan FIRST Robotics are setting up a panel for high school students to hear from young women professionals about their experience in choosing a college, selecting a college major and starting a career in the STEM field.

The panel will run on Monday, November 20 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Eagan High School. Each speaker will provide a short 3 – 5 minute introduction about themselves and then we will do a Q & A with questions from the moderator and questions from the audience. After the Q &A, we will have cookies and informal networking.

If there is anyone you know who may be interested, please let them know they are welcome to attend.  Students do not need to be on a team or in robotics. It is open to males and females.

We have 7 panelists that will be participating and it is sure to be a GREAT event! Panelists are from: Target (2), 3M (2), Thomson Reuters, WBS and Alliant Engineering.

We hope that you can make it to this event!
