Team Leaders, its time to finalize plans for the Power Up Kickoff. You have signed up for the Kickoff at Northrop Auditorium on the U of MN-Twin Cities east campus (http://campusmaps.umn.edu/northrop-memorial-auditorium). Car parking is available in the Church Street ramp adjacent to the auditorium or in the Washington Ave Ramp http://campusmaps.umn.edu/washington-avenue-parking-ramp). Please remember that food and drinks are not allowed in the auditorium. We will need your help in enforcing this.
Doors will open at 8:00am for registration. Please bring a team roster listing Consent and Release Form signoffs for all team members (from TIMS). If the students havent registered online, please bring paper forms. The program starts at 9:00am with the broadcast at 9:30am. The broadcast is on Twitch.tv this year so check your schools firewall if you have members viewing it locally (https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc/kickoff). I do not yet know the length of the broadcast but in the past couple of years it has been about 60 minutes. Kit of Parts (KOP) distribution will immediately follow the broadcast at Northrop. An adult mentor (with picture ID) must be present to signoff on the receipt of the KOP. There will be a large tote (rookies will have an additional tote) and a few small packages that will need to be carried out so please bring a dolly or similar carrying device. GOFIRST POKO (Post Kickoff) event follows KOP distribution and runs until 3:00pm (https://mngofirst.org/events/post-kickoff).
If you are coming with a bus, campus security will direct the bus for parking on campus.
