Become a STEM Advocate!

Wondering how to approach an elected official on a topic you're passionate about? Want to make your voice heard on Capitol Hill?  Curious about the day in the life of a legislator?

Team 1816 - "The Green Machine" is hosting the first annual Minnesota Advocacy Conference on September 24, 2016.  Topics and goals/outcomes of the event include:

Minnesota Robotics Invitational - Registration Now Open

Registration for the 2016 Minnesota Robotics Invitational is now open!  Once again we will be providing a high quality off-season competition that resembles the Regional Competitions as closely as possible.  This enables you to provide your new students a thrilling introduction to FRC and to get your veteran students fired up for the upcoming season! As in previous years, we hope to offer up to two ($500 each) scholarships to graduating seniors. The date is Saturday, October 15th.  The location is the Roseville Area High School.

More Teams Needed for MN State Fair!

Team Leaders, we are still looking for additional teams to participate in the Minnesota State Fair on specific dates.  To fill out the complement of 3 teams per day, we need one team each for Aug 30th and 31st, 2 teams each for Sept 1st and 2nd, and 3 teams for Sept 5th.  These slots can be filled with teams that are already going to the Fair and would like an additional day OR new teams that haven’t signed up yet.
 

MN FIRST - Summer Field Trips

 

Following-up on the successful ladies events at the MN and IA Regionals this past season, FRC Team 2220- Blue Twilight's new group, WIRES (Women In Robotics Empowering Sisters), has set up a couple of field trips this summer.  Please pass this info on to all your team members (males and females).  Specific details for each event can be found on the event web sites.

FIRST Decade in MN

Team 2177-The Robettes is hosting a "10 Year Anniversary Party" for all FRC Teams celebrating ten years - or more - of engagement with FIRST Robotics in Minnesota. Thursday June 9, 6 pm to 9 pm, at the Robettes build space at Convent of the Visitation, 2455 Visitation Drive, Mendota Heights, MN 55120. RSVPS and info regarding any special dietary concerns or food allergies are a must no later than June 6 to: 10year@therobettes.com. Every Team should bring a dessert to share!
