Team Leaders, a few items as we close out the summer..

Exciting news! Minnesota FIRST has an all-new look, check out our updated mnfirst.org website today! In addition to looking different, the website has some great new features to help teams out. We’ll have live streams available on the website for every event, along with a Twitter feed so you can keep up with what teams are saying as you watch. There are new sections to help you find resources to get help and to connect with local area support groups – Hubs/Alliances/Coalitions, along with Alumni groups and others. Finally, the new website is designed to be mobile friendly – no more squinting at your phones as you try to figure navigate around!

We hope you enjoy the new website, we’re excited to be sharing it with you.

Special thanks to Jon Stratis (programmer) and Laurie Shimizu (editor) for their work on the new look and feel.

EMCC off-season event.

MN newest off-season robotics competition – the EMCC – will be held on Saturday September 16, 2017. This event is an excellent way to get returning team members geared up for the next seasons as well as to show potential members what robotics is all about. You can register and find out more info about the EMCC at em-cc.org. Better hurry! Only 8 slots are available.

State Fair

When you’re at the MN State Fair, don’t forget to stop by the FRC demonstrations in the Education Building. If you’re there on the first day, come by the booths at STEM Day in Dan Patch Park. Special thanks to teams 2667 (Knights of the Valley), 3042 (Lightning Robotics), and 2169 (KING TeC) for exhibiting.
