Welcome to the MSHSL Robotics State Championship — the ultimate stage for Minnesota’s most innovative young engineers. These 36 high school teams have spent months designing, coding, and refining their robots, and now they face off for the state’s highest honor. It’s a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and the kind of problem‑solving that defines the next generation of STEM leaders.
2026 Tournament Information
The 2026 MSHSL Championship will be held on Saturday, May 16th at the Gangelhoff Center on the Concordia University campus.
The event is free and open to the public. If you plan to enter the team pit areas, we recommend bringing safety glasses as they are required in that area and our supply of loaners is limited. No safety glasses are required for watching matches from the bleacher areas around the field.
There are four mobility scooter parking spaces in the main floor bleachers on the north (Marshall Ave) side of the build, and three spaces on the second floor at the railing.
Official practice and qualification match schedules are at https://frc-events.firstinspires.org/2026/MNST.

Team Invitations
The team invitation list for the MSHSL Tournament is finalized once all regular season FRC competition events have completed.
Intermediate reports are posted each week as events are completed. These reports show progress toward MSHSL Tournament invitations. A Final Team Rankings Report, posted after all events are completed, indicates which teams are invited to the MSHSL Championship. Teams highlighted in green are invited.

Reading the Team Rankings report
The “State Rank” column shows each team’s position in the MSHSL qualification standings. Teams highlighted in green are either currently in position to qualify (for intermediate rankings) or have officially earned an invitation (for final rankings). An asterisk in the Event 2 column indicates that team has not yet completed a second event; their points are calculated using the single‑event formula defined in the Game Manual.
The report is organized by MSHSL section. The two top ranked teams in each of the eight sections automatically qualify. Remaining invitations are awarded to the highest‑ranked teams statewide who have not yet qualified through their section. If a team declines its invitation, the qualification list is recalculated as if that team were not eligible.
